Jeff Hardy

The Art of Pro Wrestling

Jeff Hardy is a Triple Threat of painting, sculpting, and music making (alternative- alternative music as his bro Matt calls it). But don’t mess with this artsy boy unless you are ready for a beat-down. Jeff’s alternative life and wrestling style has lead him to develop an arsenal of acrobatic and pain-inflicting

Pro Wrestling moves including Whisper in the Wind, Swanton Bomb, and Twist of Fate.

Jeff Hardy’s high-flying acrobatics started while jumping on a back yard trampoline in North Carolina with his brother Matt. As teens the Hardy Boyz used a trampoline to mimic the moves of Pro Wrestling legends like Ric Flair, the Fabulous Firebirds, Sting, The Ultimate Warrior and Shawn Michaels.

The Boyz went on to Wrestling fame; capturing six World Tag Team Championships, including the famous Ladders Match and a WCW Tag Team Championship. But that was not enough for Jeff. He wanted to go out on his own and leave his brother behind. What Jeff lost in brotherly love he gained in championship wins. He is a two time World Champion (as the WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion), a four time Intercontinental Champion, a Light Heavyweight Title, and a European Championship. He is also smacked down the Hardcore Championship three times over.

It was not all good for Jeff. He fell to the depth of misery when quit the WWE in 2003. Rumor has it that Jeff quit to go into rehab. But by 2006 this rocker was back in the game and the drama continued. Jeff was forced out of the Survivor Series WWE Championship Triple Threat Match after being found unconscious in a hotel stairwell. Pro Wrestling news and rumors about Jeff Hardy took-off. Did he fall off the wagon? Was he pushed? Could it be his bitter rivals Christian and Edge who pushed him? Or, could it be Matt Hardy who is blinded by jealousy over his brother’s success?

The Music Man was redeemed from his punishing fall when he came back to tie Tripled H in a SmackDown Beat the Clock Challenge. Jeff dropped the Swanton Bomb on Edge a reigned supreme during a Triple Threat Match. In Extreme Rules Jeff showed his highflying style to defeated Edge for the World Heavy Weight Championship. In a final twist of fate, Jeff got Punked by CM Punk when he cashed his Money in the Bank and took the title from Hardy.

With Jeff Hardy winning the family fame game things got ugly between the Boyz. In an epic “I Quit Match” Jeff forced his brother out of the business when he beat him down like Cane against Able and he forced his brother to speak the words “I quit”. Unable to contain his anger, Matt lashed out at Jeff by involving him in a high-speed car crash. Additionally, a house fire that could have seriously injured or killed Jeff is believed to have been caused by his own brother.

The rivalry is not over. As Matt continues to rub his success in his brother's face and Jeff's anger continues to spiral. Pro Wrestling rumor has it that a face-off match is brewing between the brothers.
