Kurt Angle is an All American Professional Wrestler, Actor, and Team USA Olympic Gold Medalist. Angle has fought his way to more championships than any other wrestler in history. When he was honored with the Future Legends of Pro Wrestling. award from the Cauliflower Ally Club, it seemed that everything Mr. Angle touched turnd to championship Gold.

Kurt Angle was the most dominant rookie of all time. Vince McMahon saw his raw talent and recruited him into the WWE where this American Hero went on to grab 6 world championships including four WWE Championships, a World Heavyweight Championship, and WCW Belt. That might be enough for a lesser man, but not Angle. He won the WCW United States Championship, WWF Intercontinental Championship, WWF Hardcore Championship, WWE Tag Team belt, and the Triple Crown. In one year Kurt Angle wrestled for Raw, Smackdown, ECW, and TNA - a feat that no man has been able to match.

Angle did not limit his All-American style of beat-down to the USA. He went global. This American Hero has championship belts in Europe and Japan. In 1996 Angle took Gold for Team USA in Heavyweight Freestyle Wrestling. He pinned his Iranian opponent, Abbas Jadid, in the final-round match. Jadid was unable to accept his defeat and protested the decision to no avail. The American Hero claimed the Gold for his Country.

But real champions are never without troubles. Angle broke his neck while qualifying for the Olympics. To cope with the pain Angle started to use pain killers and subsequently became addicted. His marriage to Karen began to crumble as he fought pain and addiction.

Determined to stay on top, he formed the Angle Alliance with AJ Styles and Tomko. The Alliance delivered with championship wins at Turning Point, Final Resolution, and Against All Odds. But the bond could not last.

AJ Styles, in a move that broke apart the Alliance, began to deliver a series of humiliations to Angle. Styles used Karen against him. At Slammiversary Karen caused Angle to loose to Styles by interfering in the match. The humiliation and beatings would not stop until Angle lost everything – even his Gold. After being taunted and repeatedly defeated by AJ Styles, Kurt Angle challenged the arrogant Styles to a ladder match for his Olympic Gold Medal. Styles made a fool out of our American Hero once again, this time by defeating him with an Acoustic Equalizer.

Angle continues to wrestle and has started acting. His latest movie, Behind The Mat, is an action-filled drama about high-school wrestling. As a kid in Lebanon, PA Kurt Angle was high-school wrestler and state champion. Maybe he will be able to re-live some of the good old days on camera and set his sights on a new kind of All-American Gold – Hollywood.
