Wrestlers are not ordinary people; this is what makes pro wrestling bios fascinating. Sometimes their gimmick is not far from who they really are. As the child of pro wrestling legend, trainer, and promoter, Eddie Sharkey I grew-up with many legends of pro wrestling surrounding me. He trained Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and Rick Rude, and Bob Blacklund to name a few. Some lived their gimmicks, like Baron Von Raschke who would make the claw hand in my direction, which usually had the desired effect of freaking me out. Or, Hawk and Animal, who I called just that; I never did know their birth names. They lived as the Road Warriors.
