Hollywood Hulk Hogan's Pro Wrestling Moves

Learn the moves used by pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan

Signature moves

Atomic drop
To perform this pro wrestling move Hollywood Hulk Hogan goes behind his rival, then puts his head under the rival's shoulder. He then lifts him up and drops him tailbone-first on Hogan's knee.

Belly to belly suplex
Hogan wraps his arms around his opponent in a waistlock or a bodylock position and flips him over so the opponent lands on his back. This can be done either overhead or to the side. It can also be performed in a "snap" fashion, where the attacker stomps down hard and suplexes the opponent stiffly, resulting in a quicker throw. It is mainly used by physically large and built wrestlers, like Hulk Hogan.

Big boot
When a challenger is charging towards Hogan, he uses the challenger's momentum to deliver a strong boot to the head. This move is commonly performed by tall and large wrestlers like Hogan. Hogan's height makes it easy for his leg to reach the head of normal sized wrestlers.

Body slam
A body slam is any move in which a wrestler picks up his opponent and throws him down on the mat.

Clothesline
To perform this pro wrestling move Hollywood Hulk Hogan runs towards his foe and extends his arm out from his side and parallel to the ground, hitting the foe in the neck or chest and knocking him over.

Corner foot choke
The wrestler pushes his opponent into the turnbuckle and extends his leg, choking his opponent while using the top two ropes for support. This attack is illegal and dangerous and will result in disqualification, should the move not be broken by a count of five.

Military press slam
The pro wrestler lifts his rial over his head in “military press” or overhead bench press position, then slams him down to the mat.

Finishing moves

Axe Bomber (crooked arm lariat)
The crooked arm lariat is performed when Hulk Hogan runs toward an opponent with his arm bent upward at the elbow 60–90 degrees. He wraps his arm around their head forcing the opponent to the ground.

Running leg drop
A variation to the original leg drip. Hulk Hogan bounces off from one side of the ring and runs to perform a leg drop across his opponent's chest.
